Fairmont Newport Beach
In August 2011, I took my wife to the Fairmont Newport Beach for a 3-day, 2-night stay. I signed up for the "August Staycation" package, which included a daily $15 food credit, and two $25 spa coupons (which I applied to a pregnancy massage, which costs $138 for an hour). The package also included discounted parking, but since we drove a Prius, our parking was actually free. My pregnant wife very much enjoyed the massage, the hotel pool complete with cabanas, the chocolate chip pancakes served in bed (remember that $15 daily food credit!), and the cool air of Newport Beach. This whole weekend trip cost me about $300, plus massage, and food. We were very pleased.
